Every 3rd Thursday, Dandelion Communitea Cafe hosts Green Drinks. Our December Meetup will be GREEN HOLIDAYS - ideas with Building Biology, The Study of Healthy Buildings Presentation by Diana Schultz, Wednesday - December 18th at 7 PM DIANA SCHULTZ, BA, BBEC, Principal Through Diana’s experience in design, project management and Feng Shui studies, Diana was introduced to the International Institute for Bau-Biologie and EcologyTM. This non-profit organization is dedicated to the principles of living in harmony with nature and in creating built environments that naturally support health and well being in homes and work places every day. With a background in Urban Planning with Environmental Studies (Rollins, ’99) and experience with a number of ecological initiatives (Recycle Florida Today, Eco-Action, Green Team and Board Member, Christ Church Unity, Florida Green Builders Coalition Member) Diana is successfully melding her spatial creativity with her passion for improving the environment and people’s lives. Diana Schultz is a building practitioner, currently in Certification as a Bau-Biologie and Ecology Consultant. ABOUT BAU-BIOLOGIE There is an international movement of individuals who are working to inform all who are concerned about how our built environment is affecting our health, and what environmentally friendly alternatives are available in building materials, techniques and furnishings. This group is called The International Institute for Bau-Biologie and EcologyTM (IBE), also called Building Biology. This non-profit organization came over from Germany in 1987 and is the holistic study of the man-made environment, human health and ecology. With an expanding consciousness of environmental issues, we wonder how we can bring it home. Rather than buying into the consumer frenzy this season why not focus on what is really important, what is really practical - the immediate indoor environment of our homes - for our health, for our families, and for our children’s future. Diana is a Building Biology Practitioner completing her Certification as a Bau-Biologie and Ecology Consultant. This holistic body of knowledge includes Indoor Air Quality, Healthy Building Materials and Furnishings, and Electro-magnetic Radiation. Come join us for a fun evening and lots of good news! Along with learning about surprising and avoidable health hazards, especially in our sleeping spaces, find out about the many choices we have to change or eliminate some of the harmful effects of common synthetic, unnatural or electric devices and furnishings in our homes. Diana will be presenting many economical and thoughtful ways you can make this a more meaningful and healthy giving season - and the best upcoming year ever! More information is available at Diana’s website: greenandhealthyhomes.net and at the IBE website: buildingbiology.net. ALSO we thought that the RE-GIFT exchange last year was a great success.... So all those wanting to participate again please bring some item from home wrapped or otherwise concealed to RE-GIFT and we will have another fun holiday exhange.
Green Drinks where you can eat, drink, enjoy great music, talk and learn about the issues concerning our environment and the OurLando community.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
