A former member
Announcing a new event for Green Drinks!

What: Green Drinks February Meetup

When: Thursday, February 21, 7:00 PM

Where: Click the link below to find out!

Event Description: Meet folks like you from government, business, non-profits, academia, and all walks of life who are interested in making OurLando more sustainable. A featured speaker plus local organic beer at OurLando's favorite organic cafe with an eco-attitude!

Every 3rd Thursday, Dandelion Communitea hosts Green Drinks.

Green Drinks is the only place in Orlando where you can eat, drink, enjoy great music and talk and learn about the issues concerning OurLando's community.

February's featured speaker will be Jason Dewberry, Vice President of Marketing for Garden of Life. Jason graduated Florida State University and is currently living in South Florida with his wife and two young boys. Jason will be speaking about Garden of Life's recently launched Perfect Weight America Tour, an 11-month cross-country bus tour that will carry the Perfect Weight America message across the United States and Canada.

In addition, Jason will also be speaking on ways we can change our diet, change our lives, and change our world, by implementing various Green and Sustainable Lifestyles, emphasizing on reducing your daily exposure to toxins and the importance of eating local and/or organic foods.

From heart-healthy teas to fair-trade cacao beans, Garden of Life's organic food products offer consumers an opportunity to lead sustainable lives with both a healthy diet and economic support for global communities. Garden of Life, a longtime leader in whole food based nutritional products, is now offering a variety of foods that allow consumers to be healthy and do their part to support sustainable economies throughout the world.

Garden of Life is already among the first companies of its size to make a commitment to environmental sustainability with its purchase of wind power certificates for 100% of the electricity needs for its offices and distribution center.

Going organic is one of the easiest and most important ways that you can promote your own health and wellness while helping to improve the environment, says Garden of Life Founder, Jordan Rubin. Committing yourself to eating a healthy diet is a first step toward a more sustainable life.
