For people who want to have fun & meet interesting people while we have a great walk in a beautiful place.
No more lonely walks! Walk with us as often as you like. W'll always walk around Green Lake Tuesday & Thursday evenings, weather permitting.
Maybe rain or shine. Some of us have Rain Suits! ($40 at CostCo. . .) And we’re not afraid to use ‘em! Heat though, may be another story. . .
Who knows where else we'll go? Everyone is welcome to propose a walk through a park or around a neighborhood.
We just need (1) a place for us all to park for free, (2) a route that starts and ends near the parking spots and (3) a guide who has proposed the walk to lead us through it. And maybe (4) a good, cheap feed afterwards (a parking-lot picnic will do nicely, too).
We need three or four assistant organizers at all times to keep this thing going like a certain commercial bunny.
And we will always have Green Lake -- that lovely slice of Heaven!

We walk Green Lake clockwise, starting at the benches outside the Boathouse /Small Craft Center at the south end of the Lake (directions below). The 2.75-mile walk takes 50-55 minutes. (If you get tired, turn back early.)
It's a gorgeous walk, and going clockwise we'll see lots of people going counterclockwise. (We'll also see the bikes and skaters coming!) Read more
