Grab your camera and come on a great drive through Vermont, Northern NH and into NW Maine. We are going Moose Lookin near lake Mooselookmeguntic, Maine. Thats right, we are heading into the northern wilds for an overnight in Rangeley, Maine at the Country Club Inn, which may not sound like real roughing it but I understand they do not have Valet Parking, so we'll say we're roughing it. Check it out at www.countryclubinnrangeley.com . They have offered me a rate of $139 for two people or $119 for a single room. All rooms come with a full breakfast. We have reserved 12 rooms under the name "Vermont Miata Club" and to secure your room you must book by July 1st. After July 1st they will release our rooms back to the public, so please book early. The Rangely area is crawling with Moose and we will consult with the locals and find some moose, so bring your cameras. After our Moose viewing we'll find someplace in town to have dinner and drinks. The drive over to Rangely is beyond beautiful and if we are lucky enough to have a bright sunny fall day I would say it is spectacular. Look for more info as we get closer, but for now you get the idea. Reserve SOON, we only have twelve rooms blocked. Reserve under the "Vermont Miata Club". The main group will depart from the Burlington area but we will pick up others at Montpelier and in West Danville. The proposed route will be I89 to Montpelier, route 2 to St Johnsbury, I91 south to I93, I93 to first exit at route 18, route 18 to route 2, route 2 to Lancaster NH, route 3 to Groveton NH, route 110 to route 110A, route 110A to route 16, route 16 to Errol, Route 16 to Rangeley.
