Merstham - Conservation volunteering Surrey Wildlife Trust

This Saturday we will meet by the flats on Radstock Way where we met to do the litter pick and we will be removing the ash scrub from which we pulled all the rubbish.

Meet at 10.30am
Address:  Block of flats 83 – 105 Radstock Way, Merstham, RH1 3NT.

Merstham conservation volunteers. Come and help improve Furzefield woods to maximize the wildlife. Managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust. Really fun, relaxing, relaxed, get in touch with nature event.

Some of the tasks are: tree planting, understory thinning, bonfires, natural fence making...

Attending only part of the session is fine, give me or Laura a call if you need to know where we are.

The event is advertised elsewhere, normally about 10 volunteers come. It's great fun. We take breaks, tea and coffee provided, feel free to bring food.

This is regular, 10:30-2:30pm every 3rd Saturday of the month, meeting at woods entrance opposite 154 Radstock Way, Merstham RH1 3NL.

I (Drummond) have listed this meetup, but Laura is in charge ([masked]) or text [masked]).

Any queries feel free to text or call me[masked] (Drummond)

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
