Class: Yarrow, the herb for the Wounded Warrior

Teaching this one at the insistence of a certain student, but that's OK, because I LOVE teaching single plant classes, and need to do more of them!

Yarrow (Achillea millefolium) is one of my very favorite plants, for oh so many reasons. As a first aid treatment, it's one of my first choices for almost any condition, in medicine making, it goes into a vast quantity of my formulas, in my garden, it's one of the plants that makes me smile, in my limited use of magical herbalism, it is a shining star and a Protector. Seriously, this plant ROCKS.

In this class, we'll learn all about Yarrow. You'll taste tinctures, teas, and fresh plant, experiment with other forms as well, and you'll plant seeds to take home and grow your own yarrow. For 2 hours, we'll focus all of our attention on a single plant, so that when you go home, you will feel confident to begin using Yarrow immediately.

We may even have some yarrow beer to drink, if I can swing it....

What you'll get with this class:

~A detailed monograph on the history, botany, traditional and modern medical uses of Yarrow

~1 ounce of Certified Organic dried yarrow leaf and flower

~1 ounce Certified Organic yarrow tincture

~And as discussed above, yarrow seeds planted in class, with intention and deep respect, to take home and grow your own medicine.

Hope to see you there!

Class is limited to 20 attendees, so RSVP now!

Due to ongoing problems of people RSVPing Yes and then not showing up, classes require payment in order to RSVP, as they require preparation of class notes and products that get wasted, which annoys me to no end. If this is a problem for you, contact me directly to discuss options.

It was a fun class and I enjoyed learning all about Yarrow. Love getting the salve, a bag of herb (again-yarrow), and yarrow tincture. It really helps to learn one herb at a time. I ran home and signed up for the Rose class.
