Herbal Healing From the Kitchen and Garden--6 class series

Starts on Friday January 10, continues for 5 more sessions: January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 14.

$100 members / $110 non-members

$25 materials fee (payable to instructor)

This six-class series will give you a strong foundation in herbalism: making herbal medicines, kitchen herbalism, skin care, first aid, gardening and harvesting, and more. Each class includes comprehensive information on, and sampling of, each of the two herbs discussed and in-depth discussion on foundational aspects of herbal healing. We will discuss how to grow the plants we are using, propagation techniques, harvest, and preparation. You will create an extensive herbal apothecary throughout the class series and will become comfortable with the basics of herbalism.

Hi Julie, I am excited to finally be able to get your classes into my schedule.

I am not finding how to sign up on the southcoastbonanicgarden.org link above. If I rsvp here, do I just show up that day and pay then?

Other classes will be on different days, at different times. We needed to get this series in in January, in the middle of the Winter season, so this was the only opening they had. I'll post other classes soon!

Also, all weekday classes will be earlier, except for Friday evening classes, as I have a 7 year old son, and have to sneak in classes while he's at school! :)

Hi Julie, So excited you will be teaching at SCBG! If only I hadn't already taken this class....twice! I am hoping I could swing by the first day of class and pick up my Mountain Rose order from the last class? Let me know if that works for you. I will look forward to those classes in March. Thanks!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
