Kava Kava, Plant of Peace and Connection

I love Kava.

There are reasons that some herbs are held sacred. Good reasons. And few better than for Kava, an herb that traditionally is used as a calmative, to increase mental acuity, to improve communication & mood during negotiations, to relieve pain, and to increase your euphoria quotient. It's a Happy-Making herb in SO many ways. And when grown, harvested and prepared in ways that are in alignment with the traditional ways, it is quite safe for most people.

Preparation? Oh, you can make kava in so many different ways, and all of them good. We'll try many of them in this class, from Kava Chai (the best way to prepare kava as a tea), to a specialized technique that results in a liquid much like that found in a traditional kava ceremony, (without the chewing and spitting into the communal bowl), from tincture to a lovely kava-ginger massage oil--one of my favorite oils ever. Lots of kava to play with in this class!

You'll take home your choice of these kava products, in order to further your relationship with this plant, and hopefully you'll get to love it as much as I do.

Come join us and bliss out among friendly herbies and bountiful kava!

Hey, it's me. I just RSVPed but I want to pay in person too. I didn't see this before or I would have paid you tonight. Is that ok?

I'd like to go, but i'd rather pay in person. is that an option?

    February 24, 2014

    • Julie J.

It is, as long as you clear it with me first (as you are doing). I made RSVPs as payment required because so many people were RSVPing and then didn't show up.
I will add you in as an RSVP manually, and you can pay at class.
