hello and 'welcome' ; This group is for people who are interested in ways of reducing their impact on the environment, as a lifestyle choice, whilst also having fun and meeting others. You don't have to work or study in the sector, just be keen, passionate, or interested to learn & meet others with similar passions.
This group is for you if you are;
Interested in growing veggies, sustainable transport options, energy efficiency, maybe fix or ride a bike, into social enterprises, sharing skills, food-swaps, or learning to build a raised garden bed, Or something else similar ,,
Hoping to make a difference by being green, buying local, minimizing energy & transport usage, and sharing skills and knowledge.
Our group is about people and connections, so hoping you can be involved, and also meet others when you attend an event; that's the whole idea ! IE, make an effort to contact the host or others who are at event.
- Our group is set soany member can plan/host an event( but if you havent done it before read how-to info first, or ask any host for some help,,) This makes ourgroup more dynamic & collaborative, with potentially a wider range & diversity of events !
- check our 'pages' tab for useful green & energy tips !
Our group depends on active membership to remain successful. And remember its your group, so get involved and/or tell us what you want (hope for) from the group.
and its also great if you can add a comment or 'review' after you attend .
Its really great & appreciated if you complete the profile questions, as this helps the group understand your priorities, interests and maybe passions.
Guidelines: It is totally inappropriate to do a ‘no-show’, that is to book for an event and simply not turn up. It is fully understandable that your circumstances could change; however every effort should be made to update your booking. Hoping you would understand this is an acceptable request so group doesnt wait for people not arriving.
Otherwise; there is no need to Rsvp as 'no' to each event; its really only a 'yes' that counts!
