What do you currently do to reduce your impact? Have you taken any of the NYC training courses we list in our Pages section? If you are a "Green Entrepreneur", you are welcome to add your business to our list in the Pages section.

Compost, grow food, salvage, repurpose old things. Fossil fuel consumption in the home has gone down to a very low level with simple low cost (or free) methods of conservation.

What do you hope to do in the future?

My garden is a work in progress. The goal is to have a beautiful garden that produces the maximum amount of food at the lowest possible cost with the least labor. Studying permaculture and earning the Permaculture Design Certificate someday is also on the radar.

Please give us one suggestion for a future meet up event!

Hope to host at least one Meetup a year in my home garden.

In which borough do you live? (So we branch out into everyone's communities)

We have FREE vermicompost worms to donate under our "Pay It Forward" program! Interested in setting up a compost bin? See our Pages section for instructions.

Yes, I've had worm bins since 2005, when I first started attending classes at QBG. I can donate worms for FREE to anyone who would like to start vermicomposting. Please email me if interested!

I'm keenly interested in ways to make my lifestyle more environmentally friendly.
