What do you currently do to reduce your impact? Have you taken any of the NYC training courses we list in our Pages section? If you are a "Green Entrepreneur", you are welcome to add your business to our list in the Pages section.

I have a worm compost bin, recycle, reduce, reuse and recently have started to dumpster dive to help reclaim land-fill bound items. I also try to minimize my electric and power use, use public transportation or walk, and have gardened when I have the land/opportunity. Helped run a children's garden in the Bronx for awhile and also teach people how to make recycled paper, fused plastic and other recycle art projects.

What do you hope to do in the future?

I am hoping to get back into gardening - maybe do some hydroponic gardening. Am also interested in exploring solar power options.

Please give us one suggestion for a future meet up event!

In which borough do you live? (So we branch out into everyone's communities)

We have FREE vermicompost worms to donate under our "Pay It Forward" program! Interested in setting up a compost bin? See our Pages section for instructions.

Already have a bin and overactive - over-productive worms, but thanks it is a great idea.

I have been interested in environmental issues since the 1970's and have always been an active recycler, reducer, reuser. Am currently focused on creating art with recycled and salvaged items.
