Hi! I'm a pretty long-time freegan. What's that mean? car free, community gardener, seed saver, wild forager, dumpster diver, clothing repairer, and other fun stuff.
Lots! See my intro. "Other fun stuff" includes not buying (virtually) any new stuff, regularly sharing my space with travellers and arranging for home stays (rather than hotel) when I'm travelling, many months of experience travelling in a tiny space (26 foot sailboat) without a fridge, a minimum of electricity (just from a solar panel), and a minimum of freshwater.
Looking to move to a cohousing, ecovillage or mid-size communal setting (not just a shared house or apartment); I want to have my personal land base be much smaller, with more resources (bathroom, kitchen, living room) regularly with my neighbors/community.
Skillshare on growing mushrooms or using greywater in an urban setting. I could lead skillshares on food preservation, simple clothing repair. I invite members of this group to come on urban foraging expeditions with the existing NYC freegan meetup.
