This is a group for Men in their 20's, 30's, and 40's to meet in a relaxed setting, enjoy some local events, and to make some new friends. All guys are welcome to join... It doesn't matter if you're married, single, have kids, your profession or etc. The main purpose of this meetup is to have a group to hang out that have similar backgrounds. The older men get , the harder it is to form close ties with friends and to make new ones. Once you graduate from school, for men to make friends it usually requires them to work at a job together. My hope is that as you attend and participate in our meetups that you will be automatically building a network and establishing friendships with other members. With time some of these guys will become part of your own network of friends. You will come to have you own "Band of Brothers". There are numerous organizations, meetups and websites in the Triad devoted to romance, women networking, even gay sites...but nothing for straight guys looking to hang out on the weekends. I wanted to provide an opportunity to get away from everything else (work, relationships, stress, etc) and enjoy a night every once in a while. Just to be clear this isn't a group for men to get together and behave badly. Nor is to meant for you to find or act as "wing-men" for other guys. And this is definitely not a group therapy for you to complain about problems with women, work, and everything else. The meetup group idea is simple and is meant to be a postive experience. Come on out and enjoy yourself.
