Come celebrate Washington's birthday with song!

Come celebrate our founding father and first president with songs about tradition, chopping down trees, cherries, not telling lies, Virginia (his birthplace,) or just any 'ol song you like.  As always, remember to bring about 15 copies of your songs to pass around.  Music stands are helpful too!

Tim Bassford will be leading this evening of music.

good, would like more universally known songs, but some of the original or less well known songs were good too and enjoyed playing them, especially " Poughkeepsie" led by Dan

Looking forward to meeting everyone and singing! Will be my first time at this group. I love to sing and grew up in a family of guitar players so there was always plenty of music around.
