Griffith Park Yoga Class

Bronson Canyon Yoga - NOW IN GRIFFITH PARK specializes in an outdoor all level Vinyasa Flow yoga class.  Jewel keeps a strong focus on alignment, guaranteeing the practitioner a safe well-rounded class.  A typical class may start with some Pranayama (breath work) to help the student still the mind.  Then, she will warm the students bodies with sun salutations and strong standing postures.  Jewel loves to bring a playful quality to her yoga class.  Finally, after some invigorating backbends and soothing forward bends and twists, the students are guided into a long relaxing and well-deserved Savasana (corpse pose).  Students should be prepared to work hard, but within reason.  Your teacher is an expert at adjusting and modifying poses to meet every practitioner's individual needs.  Make sure to bring water, sunblock, a block if you have it, a towel, and a yoga mat that you don't mind getting a little dirty.
