On November 6th, Design Matters, the bi-monthly live-magazine in Amsterdam is devoted to Open Design!
The theme of the evening is "Open Design as the New Industrial Revolution."
The evening is organized by Jeroen Junte author of the book Hands On: Dutch design in de 21st eeuw and journalist for 'de Volkskrant' and 'FRAME Magazine.'
Keynote speaker is Joris Laarman, DUS Architects will be presenting the 'Kamermaker®,' a 3D printer as large as a room, and Bas van Abel (De Waag / Fablab) gives insight in new business models for designers.
Sounds like and interesting evening on Open Design. If you drop by, look me up in the break of the programm, or after it has finished when he bar is open.
