I am not a professional cook/chef but I enjoy cooking and have been told I'm pretty good (for an amateur). I work in hospitality and am lucky to be able to go to our executive chef to find out what went wrong in my kitchen that didn't turn out so well and learn from the pro.
All kinds of healthy food -- from Chinese to American. I am lactose intolerant so I use soy milk as an alternative and I am also gluten-intolerant (recent development...sigh!) but there are good alternatives there too.
My husband and I are kind of foodies.
