Howlin' at Hershey Happy Hour-Hershey Vineyard and Brewery

This is an event to benefit the Humane Society of Harrisburg. I am (likely) going to volunteer at this event, so if anyone wants to be "event organizer" let me know. Either way, I figure it sounds like a fun event so I wanted to put it out there!

The Vineyard and Brewery at Hershey have gone to the dogs! Join us on June 12th from 5:30 to 8:30pm for a special Howlin' at Hershey happy hour tasting event b...enefiting HSHA (both you and your canine companions are invited!). Enjoy tastings of three of the Vineyard's top-rated wines and three of the Brewery's hand-crafted beers paired with delicious food and one glass or pint of your choice. There will be live music on the deck overlooking the Vineyard. Tickets are $25 pre-purchased and $30 at the door. Just an update. The Humane Society has stated that this charity event has sold out. Just didn't want anyone who didn't purchase tickets to go there and get turned away!

Still sounds good to me. I'll be there as early as possible. Def shooting for 5:15-ish. All who can meet that early or earlier are welcomed to hold some tables. I'm sure if there's rain, it will be much easier finding a place :-)

I have been there. Rain or shine. We sat under roof as there are sitting upstairs too. They put a tent above the band and people kind of move in under the roof. There are plenty of tickets. There were 548 people when I went two Friday ago.

Thanks but this is the information I am receiving from the Humane Society regarding this particular charity event.

Hi All. This is the message I got from the Humane Society "While the forecast has improved a little, there is still a 65-75% chance of rain for tomorrow night. I convinced the folks at the Vineyard to allow us to move the tasting stations inside their banquet room on the top of the deck. We can also bring the dogs inside. We can also use the upper deck, which is above 2/3 covered by an overhang. There is seating for about 100 on the upper deck, and they are going to arrange for additional hightop tables in the banquet room, which will seat 40-50 more." Thanks!

I just got word that this event WILL be held tomorrow rain/or. If it rains, it will be moved inside and there will be a limited amount of space. If you are planning to attend, you may want to purchase your ticket now or you may be disappointed! Thanks!

This does look sweet! I just got my ticket, so I'm all set. Remember, if you get your tickets now, it's $5 cheaper than at the door. Get them now if you can :-)

Brian-Can you help me with trying to find a table for people to congregate if there is one. I can try to print out a new sign..

Just to let you know, there is a rain date for this event. It will be June 19th. The planners will make a decision the morning of the 12th based on the forecast for that day.

I went last Friday and I would go again. We all packed our food, snack and bought bottle of wine and beer. The live music was fantastic and we danced away until 10. Enjoy

Hi All. Just some updates. I will be at the registration table from 630-830. All the other information below remains the same. They are short about 3 people for the pour/food stations from[masked], so if you want to volunteer, i can put you in touch with the volunteer coordinator. They will give you a complimentary ticket. Don't forget to purchase tickets! Vendors include Philadelphia Pretzel factory, Winner's Circle Chili, Karns Foods, Marcris Chocolates, Pennsylvania Bakery, Cornerstone Coffeehouse, Weavers of Wellsville. Strange Foke is booked as band. Hope to see you all there!

Hi All. Due to the high volunteer turnout, it looks like my shift will be 630 to 830. I get a complimentary ticket so I will try to be there at 530 to set up some sort of meetup table and maybe provide a member I know a sign for the table. At 630 I will be at merchandise and information table.

I will be volunteering at this event (at the information and merchandise table). Would anyone want to volunteer to be "event host"? I can just give you a sign so that way everyone knows where to meet. Or if you are just attending on your own, that's fine too. I just thought it sounded like a fun event and wanted to put it on the calendar

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
