 Words of Wisdom:
~ Please review Liability Release statement at THIS LINK

~ Proper gear, a working machine and gas in the tank is highly recommended.
~ Ride within your comfort zone and leave room for bad karma.
~ I may pass slower traffic when it's safe. You don't have to. Remember, someone will wait for you at turns, so just relax and have fun.
~ I maintain the Pace according to road conditions with safety of all riders in mind. Be mindful of others in the group. Let faster riders get ahead of you by moving to the right and signaling them to pass you. And if you want to pass the rider(s) who are in front of you, make sure to do so safely and without startling them.

~ If you know the area and would like to sweep for the group (AM shift, PM shift or both), please let me know.
~ Good stuff to read before going on group rides (CLICK).
~ Keep an eye for the rider(s) behind you so they won't take a wrong turn. If they get lost, you'll buy their lunch

Great weather with sunshine and warm, what else could you ask for. Even got my little private detour on Smith Grade. Hope to have a few more nice rides like this during the winter.

Sorry to be the "downer" on this run. I had a great time regardless. Such a great group of caring people. I planned on replacing most of those parts anyway and the leather worked as intended, the ego will heal. ;) See you all again after the 1st of the year.

Josh, glad you weren't hurt today (ego notwithstanding) and that you got back on the bike. Especially with your handlebars slightly out of true! I've had that happen myself and it's kind of weird to ride with your front end twisted... We'll look for you on future rides!

Josh, Glad you are ok. Hope you're not aching much. These things happen and be happy you and bike are still in working condition.

Thanks Mehran for putting together a terrific ride for all of us! And thanks to the turners/trailers for looking out for us - and to all of the riders that came!

Couldn't asked for a more beautiful riding in December. Thank you Mehran, Road Marshals and everyone for an amazing time. Josh, so glad you are okay! We've all been there...and done that at one point! See you back in saddle soon, take care!

Had a great time. Got a little squirrley once or twice on the wet pine needles, but that keeps my heart rate up. Looking forward to the next one.

Another great GRF ride! You couldn't ask for better riding weather for the beginning of December, either! Big thanx to Mehran for leading and putting this one together, plus our great Road Marshals for keeping us on the right path. With lunch in Davenport, overlooking he ocean, you just gotta love it!

I was down Jamison Creek on Thurs. Dry in the sunny spots. Lots of wet debris piles. That's pretty much the story up here while things dry out. I'd be more concerned about deer during party time :)

Mehran, I got new (road) tires on my bike. Will I still be able to make the ride or do I need to go buy knobbies today?

    December 8, 2012

    • Jeff

All kidding aside, I always thought you rode that GS pretty well.

      December 8, 2012

    • Tom

Thanks, so far I kept the rubber down when rolling, but not always when standing :-(

Ok, so I'm going to play serious hookie tomorrow at the risk of not getting my Monday demo for the CEO visit finished. But if I don't get out and ride I may have to join Jeff putting more hold in HIS freezer.

Do you have yellow springs on your Kawasaki as well? My stock suspension on the BMW is gettings worn same way as on your K1200 I guess (60k mi).

No knobbies for the Wing Or VTX so I better pass. Have a great ride guys

    December 8, 2012

    • Tom

John, don't worry, the roads are a litle bumpy but other wise ok. There will probably be some dirt in the corners after the rains so just take it easy.
