TRANSPORTS Trail Run, Wednesday 7/10/13...6:30 PM

Raffle prizes from Amphipod are to be had this week!  5 prizes:  Hydraform  Handheld water bottles (2), Hydraform Handheld "lite" bottles (2) and an AirFlow MIcro-Stretch Belt will be randomly awarded to participants after the run.

This week we will visit Tilden Park, and traverse a loop through the Nature area, over to Lake Anza, and back via the Selby and Memory Trails.  Starting point is the North end of the parking lot for the Little Farm.  The total distance is right around 5.5 miles.  There is one pretty decent climb early on in the Nature Area, and another steep uphill up the face of the Lake Anza Dam.  Other than that, it's either flat or gently rolling.

There are restrooms and water fountains along the way as well as in the parking area.  Dogs are not allowed in the Tilden nature area.

As always, running will commence at 6:30 PM.

Questions?  Let me know!

We had a great crew of about 26 people last night. Weather was a little chilly for standing in a parking lot, but perfect for a hilly evening run on the trails. See you next week!

The hills on this one aren't too bad. The one up the dam is steep, but short. I usually walk it anyway!
