Tropical Coconut Grove Fitness Walk (954) 612-4200

Hi Everyone! This walk will let you get up close and personal with the secluded tropical beauty of Coconut Grove. The walking group meets up directly in front of Starbuck's located at the entrance of Cocowalk shopping center at 3015 Grand Ave. in Coconut Grove.

Our walk starts by heading down Grand Ave to Main Ave, which will give you a glimpse of the most popular section of Coconut Grove's city center (Coco Walk & Greenstreet area). Then we'll continue down Main Ave towards to Devon Rd by way of a scenic tree covered walking/biking path. Once we get to Devon Rd we'll immediate head into a very secluded and quiet tropical residential neighborhood in the secluded areas of the Grove. This whole section has really nice vibes to it. It's a great place to dream about what you next house might be like! One of the homes (mansion) we pass by is so big it has it's own re-created a likeness of a Roman Ruin in the front yard! After trekking through this beautiful area we'll be surprised by a huge really nice, sunken tree-lined park. It's called Merrie Christmas Park. Then it's off for a quick walk through a tip of Coral Gables and quiet residential neighborhoods leading into the French Village area. This is a group of French styled homes. The we’ll shoot up a little hill and over a scenic bridge which overlooks a perfect lazy moving river.

We'll then continue down a very nice upscale Coral Gables street to a roundabout (where Le Jeune/Old Cutler Rd intersects with Sunset Dr). Then we’ll head into Coco-plum community and walk along the road of mansions heading down to a bridge that overlooks a wonderful quiet primitive area of jungle and everglades with a perfect mirror smooth river running through it (this is a ZEN point). This is our normal turn around point.
