Awesome meeting! I loved meeting new people to develop friendships with and look forward to the next event I can attend. My daughter Adrianna also enjoyed the meeting immensely! Some of the things I would like to see in the springtime meetings would be dealing with disease and pests before they happen. Also someone mentioned preparing the soil. I do not have raised beds, yet I have added soil n peat to my existing and tilled it but yet garden in it every year and need to replenish the nutrients in it. I also am not so great on the soil mix percentages for things like my blueberries or other plants that need more care. One other thing Id like to see is companion planting (including weeds) and rotation of crops. Also I anyone is interested I have a bit I knowledge on growing mushrooms and have a small mushroom garden. There is a mushroom class I take in Berra KY if anyone is interested in that.
