HSP Meetup FEBRUARY - £4 on the day

  • February 20, 2014 · 6:30 PM
  • Meadow Farm Cottage

Welcome to the HSP meetup in Hampshire. We look forward to welcoming new and old members who would like information on the Highly Sensitive Nervous System and to meet others like themselves!

The meetup lasts for a couple of hours with a break in the middle for tea/coffee and cake etc. Facilitated gently so that you can relax as much as possible and enjoy the time together with other HSPs. This is an information meeting, with opportunity to share ideas and tips on living life to the full as an HSP, run in a supportive atmosphere but not a therapy group. If you would like to come along, do call Barbara on[masked] for more information and to get directions

PLEASE NOTE VENUE MAY CHANGE IF I HAVE FOUND AN ALTERNATIVE - I WILL EMAIL YOU ALL IF THIS IS THE CASE.

When you reach this venue, park in road opposite or in the drive if space.  My satnav directs me into the river across the road, so do be careful!  Please note we have a cat, a dog, ducks and hens who are highly sociable - bear in mind if you are allergic!  Also, let us know if you have special dietary needs in good time.

Call Barbara on[masked] if you get lost trying to find us.

£4 per person on the day.  Please RSVP so I know how much cake will be needed!

Lovely evening with interesting souls... and thank you Barbara for creating such a wonderful space for us all. Maybe next time we might meet your new St. Bernard :)

Sorry I didn't make it last night, I didn't have the energy to get my car sorted, as I'd planned to.

So comforting to be among you again, so reassuring. Nice to meet new people who speak the same language :)
Thank you all for a lovely evening.

A very relaxing Meetup, everyone arrived with a 'sigh' of relief :). Lots of topics discussed, including dilemmas about work, responsibilities to others and the pursuit of an authentic and healthy lifestyle. Lots of laughter as we recounted our various trials. Also some lovely moments remembering the intense feelings that beauty inspires in us. HSS/HSP a very interesting subject as well, looking at how we keep our balance. Thank you to everyone for coming out on a rainy and puddly night to commune :)

We all seemed to be feeling the heavy weight of life at the beginning. Found our way to great laughter, such a nice feeling.

    Hello Barbara
I know I lost credits, or perhaps credibility as I haven't attended any events for rather a long time, but if there is a little corner I would like to try to join you tonight.
    Regards
    Robert

Sorry to have to pull out. I was looking forward to the meeting but I have just arrived home from work feeling tired and physically shaky. I need to be quiet and the long journey in the early evening just feels too ambitious. Perhaps I will meet some of you at the March weekend meet up, which I will find more manageable from a timing and travelling perspective.

No problem Stewart, good that you out your self-care first, very important for HSPs. See you next time :)

Update Weds 19th: generally any puddles in the village are passable with cars, but still take
Whitchurch route tomorrow (see below) if you are at all worried. There tends to be a puddle sometimes by the cottage gate, so might be worth popping your wellies on when you get here so you don't get your feet wet or muddy coming in. See you tomorrow (Thurs) :)

We've had quite a lot of rain and there has been some flooding in the lower village. We have so far been unaffected, but to be on the safe side you might want to come via Whitchurch. Just stay on the A34 instead of turning off the A303, come off at Whitchurch turnoff, then turn left at the little mini roundabout in the town and keep going 2 or 3 miles till you see the left turning to Longparish by the Hurstbourne pub. The cottage will be on the corner your right soon after you enter the village.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
