Meetup for HSPs in BRIGHTON BN3 :)

If you live in Brighton, would like information on Sensory Processing Sensitivity and to meet Highly Sensitive People like yourself, do come along to this gently facilitated Meetup supported by the National Centre for High Sensitivity.

Ildiko Davis will be there to welcome you and to facilitate exploration of topics related to this trait.  This is an information rather than a therapy group, however, you may find the discussions have poignant moments. You are welcome to join in discussions, or just to listen or chat in the break if you prefer. Refreshments provided. If you have any questions about the Meetup, please contact Ildiko by email through this site or telephone[masked] 554. If you need information on other Events hosted by the National Centre for High Sensitivity, please call Barbara on[masked] 4854.

Early RSVP is advised as places will be limited.

PARKING AND BUSES There is pay and display parking on First Avenue, or cheaper parking at the Town Hall Car Park on Norton Road, which is about 5 mins. walk (http://en.parkopedia.co.uk/parking/near/hove-town-hall/). If coming via public transport, buses No. 1 , 1A, 2, 2A, 5, 5A, 5B, 6, 20X, 25, 46, 49, 71, 81, 81B stop nearby. If coming by train, the bus No. 6 comes directly from the station.

It was really great being in a room with people who understand where you are coming from and know where you are at without having to explain or justify yourself. The group was friendly & welcoming and we were able to express our experiences openly which also gave validation and acknowledgement. I'm glad I went and look forward to the next one :-)

It was lovely to new meet people, who could share about ways to live well with our sensitivity. Topics covered included coping with emotions/energies absorbed from our environment, issues around being a good listener and the role of our body as an ally in nurturing our sensitivity.

I also have another commitment that day but would like to come to another event. I live in London but my family all live in Brighton.

Hi Cecilia, sorry to hear that you won't be able to come along this meeting, Saturdays can be often like that. I am hoping that you'll be able to make it another time though, as it was really nice to have you with us :)
