Composting OC style: Part Two

This will be a lecture/workshop on composting with worms and compost teas. Virtually everyone can compost with worms and vermicompost (worm castings, etc.) is like black gold to the organic gardener. More details to follow, regarding what to bring (optional) for the workshop portion. There may also be a  materials fee (again optional) if you want some starter worms and bedding material.

I'm not planning on attending, but I have a large garden and have kept worms for a couple of years. If anyone in NOC wants to get started, I'd be happy to share some worms. :) Or I'd be happy to trade some worms for a few bags of pesticide-free dried leaves from your yard!

Sarah, sure! I love the idea of getting more people into composting and vermicomposting. I'll see if I can send you a private message and we can set up a time. We can meet somewhere halfway or if you'd like, you are welcome to come over and see my worm set-up, veggie garden and/or my new backyard chickens, all of which are constant works in progress. :)

Great class! I learned how valuable worms really are and I am pretty sure I will get a couple of bins going. Can't wait to see what the next class will teach me!

I wish I could attend. I have a ton of worms but like to learn more about composting.... But I have work this weekend. I would like to offer my office as a location if we need one for future meetings. I am in Aliso Viejo. We are a homeschool/ tutoring center and are trying to teach our students the value of gardening. Contact me via [masked] if you need a location sometime

Regret I can't make the meeting, and hope to get the information at the next.
