Planning Your Fall/Winter Garden

One of the great things about our area is that you can Grow Your Food Yourself (GryFy) year round. Historically July, August, and September are our hottest months with August slightly edging out the other two. As your summer garden is winding down, it's time to start planning what you can grow in the fall and winter.

At this meetup we will discuss classic fall and winter crops as well as some new things you may want to try growing. I'll also have free seeds from my crops from last winter. If you want seeds, please bring four or more small containers to take your seeds home in with some way of labeling the container. Plastic pill bottles or snack size plastic baggies work well. Also have some way of labeling the container.

Well organized, informative presentation. I learned a lot and left with a more complete understanding of Sq ft gardening, and more confidence to try it

Greg knows his stuff. Ask a question and he's got the answer! Love the group...will be back again for the next event!

Thank you for such complete information. I'm new at this and feel more at ease with planning and planting my garden.
