Star Party

Guadalupe Mountains National Park lies under fantastic night skies. Join science teacher and astronomer Tim Black for a tour of the night sky, using telescopes and laser pointers. You will learn about the constellations, planets and galaxies, and the importance of preserving natural darkness in night skies. You are welcome to bring your own telescope. This program is free, but may be cancelled due to inclement weather.

Families and children of all ages, stop by the Pine Springs Visitor Center (open daily 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM) for a Junior Ranger Night Explorer Activity Booklet. Participants earn a free patch upon completion of the booklet.
