I've been concentrating on learning to read music. Tab is o.k. for certain pieces, but good old-fashioned musical notation is where it's at. I played baritone (bass clef) in high school and college, so transitioning to reading treble clef has taken some work. I want to develop my sight-reading skills and would enjoy playing with and around other people. It's certainly not my intent to offend anyone, but I should mention that I don't smoke or do street drugs and prefer to interact with other musicians in an environment that excludes these activities (yeh, we classical guitarists are wild-n-crazy guys and gals, aren't we?).
All of the above.
I'm a single guy living in N. Phoenix (vicinity I-17 and Happy Valley Rd.) who is transitioning to retirement and now focused on developing my hobbies, including the guitar. I have been taking classical guitar lessons from a private instructor.
