I've played guitar for 44 years...so I really should be better at it by now, I guess. But, along the way I've learned a lot of other instruments and had a couple other careers besides my current one as a guitar and strings teacher.
Yes. Was involved in a guitar society in San Diego many years ago. It eventually faded away and a few years later I got another one going. It was great fun, with lots of educational and performance opportunities, plus a guitar quartet and a regular magazine. I thought it would be nice to be part of another one.
All of the above... :-) Realistically, though, I most want to do some ensemble playing and give my students additional opportunities.
