Blood proteins in Dinosaur bones!

Note: This will be a joint meeting with the American Chemical Society so dinner will be at 6 pm and the presentation will begin at 7:30 pm.
Hardly anyone you talk to is aware that blood tissue and proteins were found in T. Rex bones that were over 60 million years old. The same is true of some dinosaur eggs found last year in China. This exciting discovery by paleontologists should have been front page news, yet it takes a very deep internet search or perhaps an obscure
TED talk to find any information. The problem here is not the science, but the narrative associated with it.Those with a theological world view feel vindicated and those with a
non-theological world view think that there is a mistake and as a result, no real research or science (in this case chemistry) gets done. This talk will review the history of world view and how it influenced the sciences and aspects of our lives and will close with an prediction that if not addressed properly empirical science and academic freedoms are at risk.

Starting early is a disservice. I arrived early for a scheduled 7:30 presentation but found myself late. Then couldn't hear because of restaurant noise. 40 miles I drove only to serve as a guerrilla photographer. But glad to hear the subject being discussed. Thanks Mr. Ardis for gracious accomodation. Larger meeting room needed. Also, What Mr. Haygood said.

Good speaker, but too big a topic for 1 hour.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
