All Bikers are welcome. As long as you like to ride, that is what counts
. It doesn't matter whether you ride a touring bike or a sport bike; ALL are welcome. You can be single, married, have a partner, ride alone or with someone as company. You are free to sign up for events as you wish. There is a one time membership fee of $5.50 per Paypal or $5 cash.
Membership however is conditional. Please read through and follow the instructions in our 'Membership Requirements'
section. As part of this meetup you MUST post a recognizable picture
of yourself. It will help identify you to other members. Of course we will probably recognize you as you ride up to meet us anyway. It's just a useful tool for everyone and it helps all of us in identification as we get to know each other.
There are no requirements regarding how many rides you go on. However, you do need to maintain an active participation. We also encourage you to keep us informed of riding events which may be of interest to the group. We look forward to meeting all of you at sometime.
Although we try to schedule and post events well in advance, we do have sudden urges to ride and will quickly put together an event for that day or the next. Additionally, for a variety of reasons, there may be last minute changes to meetup locations and/or meetup times. Check the calendar frequently and always check it just prior to a meetup!
Events are scheduled in various locations throughout SW FL to accommodate our members. Our rides include short rides to specific places or longer rides which may include several stops. We attend bike nights, and sometimes we will ride and join up with other meetup groups. We occasionally schedule overnight events and may recommend the name of a hotel. However, you are responsible for making and guaranteeing your own room reservation(s). Meetups requiring advance reservations will require an RSVP by a certain date and "Maybe" RSVP's are not available for these meetups.
Our rides usually include stops for food and refreshment. Riding, focusing attention, and vibrating creates hunger and thirst. At all times, we encourage each of you to act appropriately, drink responsibly, and remember that safety is always a primary concern.
Group rides are done in staggered formation. Please observe the lead rider for appropriate signals. If you are not aware of how to ride in a staggered formation or of how to respond to hand signals, please ask the organizer or any of the assistant organizers. SAFETY

International Motorcycle Hand SignalsThe Aimless Wanderer had these thoughts on 'Leading'
From time to time many of you will find yourself in the lead position. Always keep in mind that it is the leaders responsibility to insure for the safety of the group.
- ALWAYS ---when pulling on to highway make sure there is enough break in traffic for the entire group to pull out.----I saw a couple almost get hit by a truck when the leader pulled out and of course everyone followed and there was a dump truck coming.
- ALWAYS pull off an interstate off ramp to wait for stragglers.---never under an overpass on the side of the road.
- ALWAYS ride as fast as the slowest bike and at the skill and confidence level of the newest rider in the group.
Roger, the Organizer and all the Assistant Organizers are always open to your suggestions for new rides. We encourage your participation. Please talk to us about any rides or send us emails with your suggestions.
