Games Only Session @ St George's RC School (Intermediate and Advanced Levels)

The session will run on every Tuesday evening starting from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. (we have to start packing/showering around 9:45pm and out of the door by 10pm)

Venue: St Georges Catholic School, Maida Vale W9

Nearest underground: Maida Vale (Bakerloo Line) Turn right out of station, pass the shops, then left down Lanark Rd. approx 5 minutes walk.
Buses: 16 (Victoria - Cricklewood), 98 (Holborn - Willesden) and 332 (Paddington - Brent Park). All stop outside the school.
Free parking available in Lanark Road in the evening.

Penalty charges are applicable if you:

1. Cancel last minutes (24 hours before, ie after 7pm Monday) - £ 4.00

(Reasons like working late, sick last minute, pulled a muscle, last minute meeting, forgot to feed the cat, etc will not be acceptable, we heard it all before.)

Penalty still applies whether or not the spaces vacated were taken by other members.

2. No show - £ 8.00

Since receiving comments from some players, we are making some alteration to the RSVP system. If a player RVSP to an event, he/she should be the one turning up for the event, there will NOT be any transfer to another person to attend. It is only fair and reasonable for members who are on the waiting list. A penalty of £8 will be applicable if the member who RSVP'd doesn't turn up for the event himself/herself.

Feather shuttles will be provided and players will only need to bring their own rackets. Otherwise we have rackets to be purchased at reasonable prices.

In the case of high number of people. Please be considerate to others who have been waiting for sometime and let them take their turns.

The session is for intermediate and advanced levels of players only.

We would respect and appreciate people to turn up when reserved a place and respectfully ask members to cancel their reservation as early as possible if they decided not to attend, so that the place can be filled by others. In order to discourage members from not turning up when reserved, we have to put a penalty charge. See above for the charges.

In terms of health and safety, we expect members to dress appropriately with proper indoor court shoes, sports wear. Any injury incurred will be the person's responsibilities. The group will hold no responsibilities should there be any personal injury caused during the games.
