Our GD group
Guys & Dolls Badminton Group was founded in 2005 by a group of social badminton addicts. In the space of a few years, we have attracted intermediate, advanced and ex-professional players from all over the world to share in the fun and passion of badminton, and our league teams have enjoyed considerable success in the last two seasons, with our ladies?, men?s and mixed teams all gaining promotion.

We would like to invite badminton players, from beginner to intermediate standard, to join us for weekly games and practice session on Sundays.

Our initiative to improve your game
Players joining our Sunday sessions are graded according to ability into the following categories:

Yellow = C-
Green = C+
Red = B-
Purple = B
Blue = B+

A peg board system is in place to ensure fair selection of matches. Whoever selecting the matches can choose to play within their own grade, or one grade above or below (e.g. a red player can choose to play with red, green or purple players).

A 'promotion' system is in place for those players actively improving their game and who wish to try for a higher colour.

Grading Captain:
John Fielding and Andy will be responsible for grading players.

How much does it cost Joining GDBG Weekly Practice?

3-hour club session: ?7.00 per person.
