Mission The mission of the Gwinnett Islamic Community is to provide a space for Islamic learning and worship in a positive, uplifting, family-friendly, open-minded, non-judgmental and all-inclusive environment in order to build a spiritual community based on the Islamic Principles of Brotherhood, Equality, Respect, Love and Compassion. We believe in the Oneness of God and the Oneness of Humanity. Vision To provide a space and scheduled programming to facilitate Islamic learning and worship. To promote unity amongst Muslims, acceptance and celebration of the diversity that exists among us through open discussion, dialogue and exchange of ideas in a respectful, inclusive and non-judgmental environment. To learn from one another, examine the unexamined and explore the unexplored. To work collectively as a Muslim community to encourage solidarity, to live the positive teachings of Islam, and to build community and interfaith partnerships. To encourage interfaith cooperation, service and learning. To provide members with opportunities to participate in charitable, volunteer and educational initiatives, allowing Muslims to give back to the American community at large.
