Roger is a former Silverlight MVP, and has developed over a dozen mobile apps and games across various mobile platforms including iOS, Android, Windows Phone, and Windows 8.
Roger Peters will be introducing us to the world of writing iOS apps and games in C# using Xamarin.iOS (formerly MonoTouch). Roger will show how to build native iPhone and iPad layouts using XCode's interface builder, and show how to develop for iOS using Visual Studio. He will review other new features announced at Xamarin Evolve 2013, and talk about the strengths of Xamarin.iOS over other cross-platform iOS development platforms.
