In this role you'll be the "expert developer" between Sales & Operations, focused on identifying customers’ needs based on data, coordination, and communication with both our client and the customers' developers. In other words, you would manage production of demos by working with developers on both sides of the sale process. In this role you will also provide dedicated sales support to the sales team.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
Proactively identifying & addressing customer's technical needs and objections, to drive sales.
Acting as the primary bridge to identify & remove process problems early between Sales and the technical team in order to deliver client reporting requirements.
Responsible for the most highly technical customer issues and regularly mentoring Sales Team and acts as the most expert opinion relative to company solutions.
Expected to be proficient in all product lines at the advanced level.
Assist Sales team through preparation and delivery of technical presentations and statements of work by matching specific client business requirements into effective delivered solutions.
Maintain high-level knowledge of all other products/services, competitive product lines, and industry through self-education and provided resources.
Proactively and effectively identify customer needs and overcome objections to proposed solutions.
Perform technical benefits assessment for customers by gaining detailed understanding of their reports.
Provide continuous knowledge transfer to the sales team regarding technical aspects and benefits of company product.
Support new and existing sales efforts via technical demonstrations and presentations.
Properly document and provide feedback to sales team.
Communicate with customers to understand their current technical environment, key business issues, and future benefits that could be realized through company solutions.
Instruct customer on costs associated with the work.
Provide technical specifications, including data analysis, scope and pricing that meet customer requirements and help solve customer business or data challenges.
Ensure smooth customer implementations by coordinating installation and implementation with the Sales Support Team.
Skills & Requirements
Bachelor's Degree preferred, but not required.
1-2 years programming experience with ASP.NET (C#)
1-2 years experience with SQL Server data programming required
Experience working with IIS required.
Experience with SSRS a plus.
Experience meeting customer time constraints
Ability to negotiate and up sell products and services
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including verbal, written, negotiation and communications
Possess a strong people orientation with the ability to listen, work, resolve and prioritize issues to achieve customer satisfaction Strong presentation skills.
Must possess ability to sell effectively in front of an audience that is on the phone
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions Analytical/Quantitative abilities required.
Must be able to interpret and explain financial and statistical information
Ability to quickly assess the critical elements of a situation and decide appropriate action
Must be able to relate to all levels of management In-depth knowledge of technical support issues
A hands-on background in software or web products is desirable
Broad knowledge of call ad hoc metrics technologies is desirable
Detail oriented, highly responsive and customer focused
Experience in dealing with highly sensitive and confidential information in a discreet and appropriate manner
