Black Book Needs Senior Software Engineer

Jeff A.
Group Organizer
Lawrenceville, GA
Post #: 5
Black Book is a successful data aggregation and software company within the automotive industry. The business started back in 1955 printing vehicle valuation guides, but like many printing companies we have morphed into a software company over the years. Basically, we develop software to create distribution channels for the automotive content we collect and create.

To-date we have created a full line of web based products that includes both online, as well as, transaction based web services. We are also heavily involved in the development of mobile applications and have been for nearly 12 years. We are getting ready to create the next generation of mobile products out in the cloud (Amazon), and we need to add someone to our team with your web development expertise.

The company has a little over 100 employees and we are owned by the Hearst Corporation (), a large, privately held media conglomerate. We like to think we have the best of both worlds, because we have the freedom and flexibility of being a small, nimble company, while we enjoy the benefits of being a part of a large corporation.

We are currently located in Gainesville, GA but in the next 5 months we are moving our offices to the Duluth area right off of I-85. The goal is to get a little closer to Atlanta where most of our employees live.

If this sounds like it is of interest to you please review the requirements of the position and see if they match your skillset.
