Hike: Welcome Spring: Ridley Creek State Park: White Trail

GPS ADDRESS 351 Gradyville Road, Newton Square, PA 19073

DOGS: Well behaved dogs on a leash are welcome

LEVEL: This is a moderate level hike due to some hills and the pace, so is NOT recommended for a beginner.

There may be a lot of MUD on the trails so be prepared and maybe bring another pair of shoes to wear after the hike

We will meet in Ridley Creek State Park Parking Area #9 near the bathrooms and picnic tables.  Meet at 10:00AM so we can leave promptly by 10:15 AM

***** Bathrooms are open at  The Mansion (across from the stables) but I am not sure if the one in lot # 9 will be open yet

TIME: The trail is about 5 miles so allow about 2 hours for the hike

Dress appropriately for weather conditions. You may want to consider bringing any or all of these items: water, snacks, hat, first aid kit, walking stick, field guides, binoculars, and or a camera.

NOTICE: By attending an event you are agreeing that YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY AT ALL TIMES. The hike leader and other hikers cannot be held responsible for any damages, accidents, or liabilities incurred while hiking with us.

Thanks to everyone who put on their hats and mittens to welcome Spring with our hike today. The air was brisk, but the mud was minimal so it worked out okay

Hey all, some of us HHH hiked this trail Saturday 3/22 and it was not too muddy. Cindy is correct in that the Mansion bathrooms are the only ones open; the other ones along the trail are still closed.

I'm not sure where parking lot #9 is - is that at the mansion?

Across from the mansion lot is the horse field and you make a left turn there,go up the hill past lot 8 and the road dead ends at lot #9
