Welcome!

This group is aimed at families & singles who have an interest in getting outdoors , enjoying new places, making new friends, sharing stories and having fun. We plan BBQ's, picnics, day walks and even some overnight trips. The only criteria is that it will be outdoors!

The difference with our overnight trips is that we are targeting getting away from it all, but staying in (affordable) accomodation (Huts, Caravans, Cabins & Shared accomodation). That way, people can concentrate on having an enjoyable weekend away, without the usual tents & associated hassles.

With members from the Sunshine Coast down to the Gold Coast, we try & make the locations suitable for everyone, and we will try & supply as much detail as possible on walks so you can decide if it's suitable for you. Our members have kids that range from a few months old to teenagers, and we hope to be able to cater for all. Obviously people without kids are also more than welcome!

Welcome to all members. This is a fairly new group, and the current organisers are very keen to hear of any suggestions as we are not that familiar with suitable locations. We are hoping to have at least 1-2 events per month so feel free to contribute or organise or we are going to run out of locations fast without help from members!
