Just a reminder to Get Prepared for the Kayak Season

Hi Everyone,

THIS IS JUST A REMINDER (Not an Event) FOR YOU TO GET PREPARED FOR KAYAK SEASON, CHECK YOUR EQUIPMENT AND DO SOME EXCERSIZES.

Start some PUSH UP's and SIT UP's excersize now. 

Yes often times people are so out of shape even the opening event is too strenuous for them.. This year you will have to paddle back alone even if you are looking like a melting and drooping mozzarella ball part way through the short paddle distance, and you will repeat WITH every stroke, "i should have done at least 2-3 push ups per day, a few leg lifts per day also if i can not do situps." over and over UNTIL YOU GET BACK ;-)

( 2 to 3 of each (push ups and leg lifts or situps) per day actually helps ) 

 Inventory your kayaks and gear, prepare for loading in a few days.

PADDLE DAY:Eat something, Take 2 Aspirins and 2 fish oil capsules the morning of the event so it will be better for you in the event a heart attack starts.


AND PLEASE WEAR YOUR LIFE JACKETS. (Remember i can not make you wear a life jacket, (Only Deputy Dog can fine you) However i will use THIS request asking for you to wear it whenever you are on the water and i MAY take a picture of you floating dead in the water without it on if a legal challenge is made.)

Lets hit the water safely and happily this year and every year..

    Regular Push Ups and Leg Lifts while laying on back are a daily thing for me now, not many of them at one time but a few times per day makes a noticeable improvement over every week prior. Please get in some shape while its pre-season and for your own longevity.
