As Heirloom Gardens continues to grow, I'm going to be working on an official email newsletter function that you can opt into if you want to receive the occasional email about announcements/classes/events/etc going on at our urban homestead and in the community. But, in the meantime, I wanted to use this list to send a little update.
Thanks to the encouragement of an Heirloom Gardens apprentice, I decide to expand the goat milk soap offerings to form a Soap of the Month club. The soaps are 100% natural (no artificial colors or fragrances), gentle, and very moisturizing. And -- best of all -- my sweet backyard goats provide the milk for the soap! (Except when they're pregnant, because we give them a milking break during that time.)
- Two bars (different varieties) of handmade, all-natural, goat milk soap delivered to your home by the 10th of the month, every month.
- Each month's soaps will have a seasonal theme. During growing season, the soaps will be inspired by the garden -- and I'll grow as many of the herbs and flowers used in the soaps as I can!
- A short newsletter that talks about the inspiration for that month's soaps, updates on the goats, and general goings-on with the garden and urban homestead.
- 10% off any additional soap orders, in case you love a particular variety so much that you want to give it to your friends and family!
