Grand Barista Championship (Day 2 Heats)
Forget bars and cocktails, this is the age of baristas and coffees. Hong Kong's coffee makers are gathering this weekend to join the GBC barista contest.
The Grand Barista Championship, organised by Australian company Danes Gourmet Coffee, will have preliminary heats on 14-15Aug to select six finalists on to compete in Restaurnat and Bar Hong Kong on Sep 7. Contestants must make four black espressos, four milk coffees and four coffees with latte art design within 12 minutes.
We managed to get entracne for Coffee Lovers Group's member. If you want to come and watch how the baristas battle it out, please RSVP here, maximum 50 attendees per day.
Entry Fee: HKD25 per person per day, pay at the door (Fee cover coffee and light refreshment).
Time: 11:30 - 18:00 (you can come and go any time)
