Tai-O is filled with activities that are sure to make you think you’ve actually left the Hong Kong SAR. Known as the Venice of Hong Kong due to the river that runs through the village, this former fishing town used to be a salt export hub, but today is known for processing salt fish and its celebrated shrimp paste (be wary of the smells).

Solo Cafe is one of the best kept secret in Hong Kong. The cafe is specialise in syphon coffee, while they serve espresso based drinks too. Vincent, the head barista of Solo, will show us how to brew a perfect cup. He also specially prepare four different fresh roasted coffee for our group:
1. Brazil, Daterra Estate
2. Peru, Organiz Tribeca
3. Maraba, Bourbon
4. Ethiopia

Soulmate, voted as best 100 Hong Kong restaurant, is one of the gemstone in Hong Kong's coffee scene. This small cafe located in a back alley of a small shopping centre in Kwai Fong, somewhere you don't expect to find high quality coffee, but there it is. Trust me, it is worth squeeze in and stand at the counter to wait for the perfect cup!

Pink dolphins are a special sight in local waters. Boat tours should be easy to find, as many boats will be ready and willing to take you out hunting for the pink dolphins. If you are lucky, you can see 2-3 jumping out of water within a 30 mins boat ride.
