HOT (Heart of Texas) Artists and Artisans
This group is dedicated to getting together like minded local Artists and Artisans, as well as general art lovers. We will be scheduling Sketch Nights, Group Museum and Gallery Tours, Art Demonstrations, Exhibits and Shows, among other events.
All artists, craftsmen, photographers, students, and anyone who appreciates art and craftwork are welcome to join and participate. We are seeking people from a wide variety of fields so that we can gain maximum exposure to a broad range of work. Those who simply wish to join in on our field trips and be exposed to the art found around the Central Texas area are welcome to do so.
We are looking to create area chapters to minimize travel. Chapter locations will be in Bryan/College Station, Temple/Belton/Killeen, and the Waco area. We are currently looking for Area Chapter Organizers. If you are interested please email the Meetup Organizer for more information.
Joining HOT Artists and Artisans is free. All that is required is a free Meetup.com account. Any particular event that requires a fee will be noted in the event listing.
Please email us at heartoftexasartists@gmail.com if you have any questions. Once we have a few people involved, we can start planning our first meetup. If you are interested, but not sure about being able to make meetings, please join us anyway and participate in the message board discussions.
HOT Artists and Artisans can be found on Facebook.com. Also check out our blog at heartoftexasartists.blogspot.com.
