Beginning Monday January 20, 2014 we will be meeting for our weekly writing circle at the Waco Barnes & Noble from 6-7:45pm. We'll gather at the tables to the right of the store--along the wall of gorgeous journals! :)
We open with a 15-20 minute freewrite session (prompts are available) followed by a time of sharing. Participants are welcome to share their own writing, writings of others who inspire them, or to use the sharing time to practice working up to performing at an open mic or other reading.
Any individual who lives as and identifies as a womyn is welcome to participate in ITWOW, all ages are welcome. We will always have paper, pens, and prompts available and womyn are encouraged to bring whatever journals, notebooks, or laptops are most comfortable for you to use in writing.
ITWOW is free to all. We do welcome and appreciate donations which can be given at circle or made online at: www.inthewordsofwomyn.com by either one-time donation or a recurring monthly sponsorship.
