Another great meetup. Scripting GPUs is a great way to prototype and explore parallel computing.

I do note that people who are on the attendee list and won't be able to make the meetup have been changing their status on meetup.com and people from the waiting list have been moving up to the attendee list. Quite a few have made it to the attendee list that way. People have become very good at releasing their spot if they can't make it. Thanks!

Just to let people know, I have *NOT* been able to secure a larger room at Microsoft's offices for this meetup. I tried but there was no larger room available. Given the size of the group, I am working hard to obtain larger venues for the meetups. As you can imagine, finding large venues in midtown Manhattan isn't the easiest task!

What's the intention for people on waiting list? I vaguely remember it was mentioned to get people on the waiting list in as well, but not sure how you plan to do so. i.e. should we just show up tomorrow? will the status change to let us know it's okay to show up?

I too just switched to no but would really appreciate the slides if someone could. Thanks.

Is it possible to post the slides afterward? I just changed my RSVP from going to No. I hope someone will enjoy my spot, but I still wish to get slides? Maybe? Thanks,.
