South Florida HPC & GPU Supercomputing enthusiasts!
Another great meetup is coming up about parallel computing technologies, where you can share ideas, talk about advanced programming topics and meet experts.
In the first presentation you will experience adding GPU acceleration to your existing applications with Thrust C++ standard template library. We have also time for another presentation of your choice. Please reply to our message board for a topic you to like give a speech about, suggest a speaker or request a topic so we can look out for the expert on that area.
- Refreshments and snacks will be available.
- Book Raffle: one lucky member will get the "CUDA by Example: An Introduction to General-Purpose GPU Programming" book.
- Please RSVP to get your parking decal.

7:00-7:30pm : Adding GPU acceleration to your existing application with Thrust C++ standard template library (Adnan Boz)

Notes:
FAU requires the parking to be arranged upfront and issues parking decals. The decals cost $2 each per car, but we'll be sponsoring that small amount for this meeting. Therefore please RSVP and let us know how many cars are in your party. You can park at the red and blue spots without reserved signs.

Well organized, great discussions, excellent presentation by Adnan introducing thrust. I learned more about parallel computing last night. Kudos to the organizers!
