If you RSVP to an event, but are no longer able to attend, the expectation in this group is that you update your RSVP out of courtesy, but also as we often have waitlists. If you have 3 no shows, you may be removed from the group. Do you accept this?

I have only recently discovered my sensitivity is readily explained by HSP traits. Looking forward to meeting and interacting socially with other HSP's.
This is a Meet-up group for those who identify as a Highly Sensitive Person / HSP.
This group gives HSPs the opportunity to feel more connected, by bringing together others who experience the world as we do. In doing this, we hope our HSP community can help you to realise how great our gifts really are.
In the book "The Highly Sensitive Person" Dr. Elaine Aron defines a distinct personality trait that she claims is inherited by 15-20% of the population. The HSP has a sensitive nervous system, is aware of subtleties throughout their experience, and is more easily overwhelmed when in a highly stimulating environment. Your sight, hearing, touch, and sense of smell are not necessarily keener, but your brain processes information and reflects on it more deeply.
