Hey Guys, couldn't stay for the whole show tonight, but I caught the beginning. If anyone is interested in diving deeper into responsive design and would like some more hands-on tutorials and perhaps some code samples or walk throughs I would be happy to give a talk, let me know if there's interest!

I would like a talk of course..

I think having a talk around various responsive frameworks out there (bootstrap, foundation, skeleton, etc) and providing some examples of the strengths of each would be good. I have a lot of experience with skeleton and would be able to contribute to that discussion. Using frameworks is probably one of the best ways to dive deep into RWD.

The mention of the word "tablet" makes me uncomfortable. In principal, responsive design is device agnostic. I'm also pretty sure that responsive design has already "taken off." If you have been following the future friendly people, and chris coyier and brad frost and dave rupert and luke wroblewski etc etc etc... that should be pretty clear. I would love to know the specifics of the talks. I'm worried that this will be yet another meetup where no one knows what they are talking about... and they are offering limited knowledge of limited tools that are really just bandaids for the "problem." I know that sounds rude... but it is all too often the case. Are we going to be talking about "html5" or CSS at all durring these presentations? If it's just some "magic" plugins that claim to make your static sites responsive, I would like to know - so I can skip this one. That said - if we are Really going to be talking about REAL responsive development, and real code - I would be really happy.

I am very grateful for these meetups and the time you take to set them up shaRon. I am just not that close to Santa Monica, so I have to carefully choose the topics I can come out for. And I agree, that there are always little things to be learned from every talk. I thought I had no interest in fatCloud and ended up learning a lot at one of the recent meetups.
