Usability Study - want to participate?

Dear Developers,

You are invited to participate in a usability study to evaluate a redesign of a site. The study is part of an ongoing development process and we are inviting different technology professionals to participate. We are interested in learning about your experience in using the redesigned site and in hearing about how useful you think you may find it for your work.

As part of the usability study, we will ask you to complete different tasks associated with the site while a facilitator observes your process. You will be interviewed before and after performing these tasks. Please note that there are no wrong or right answers in this study and that we are only interested in learning about you might go about completing the tasks we have outlined. We are not testing your knowledge or skills while using the site.

During the session, we will ask you to speak your thoughts and decisions out loud while your task completion process is captured by audio and video as you work through the scenarios. This documentation will be used solely for the purpose of this study and will be kept confidential. As this study is for a site that has not yet launched, you will also be asked to sign a non-disclosure agreement.

We will be hosting the tests in 45-minute session, to be scheduled sometime in mid August 2013. The sessions will be held at a location in Venice, California. To thank you for your time and assistance, we will be offering a $150 upon completion of the session.

If you are interested in participating in the study, please click on the link to see if you are eligible:

If you are eligible, we will contact you to schedule the test session. Qualified participants will be scheduled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Thanks in advance for your participation.
